ABSTRACT

Many organisations are rushing to jump on board the corporate purpose bandwagon, but very few organisations are turning their purpose towards truly enabling people to become more and to push them towards self-actualisation. When an organisation’s skills and acumen go into enabling people to move from aspiration into action, better lives get unlocked and better business results follow. Changing behaviours is really one of the most difficult things to achieve. That’s why it’s so important to put a stringent focus on transformation, because it’s the ultimate barrier to personal development and business success. Transformative organisations get this and unleash transformative innovations across the organisation, from marketing initiatives to product and services. The idea of a consumer defined only by buying is giving way to a new role where it’s all about better living or self-actualisation.
