ABSTRACT
The contemporary business world is connected to continuous globalization of economy. Globalization has also affected small and medium companies by changing their role, primarily, in national economies. Globalization impact on development of entrepreneurship is the subject of the analysis of many studies. The example of using the globalization possibilities for small and medium-sized enterprises development offers, global start-up companies. Scientists and experts of economics have looked at the concept and process of globalization from various viewpoints, including whether globalization causes a higher gross domestic product (GDP) and economic growth. Global Competition Index – global competition index analyzes the factors that lead to productivity and prosperity. It is about a rather comprehensive index, which includes micro and macroeconomic bases of national competitiveness. Scientists and experts of economics have looked at the concept and process of globalization from various viewpoints, including whether globalization causes a higher GDP and economic growth.
