ABSTRACT
This chapter will develop the readers’ skills at using data for monitoring and adjusting schoolwide improvement efforts and evaluating outcomes. It will include a description of the general outcome measures that are linked to reductions in school dropout rates and increases in students’ post-secondary success. The examples included will help the reader to find effective ways to use existing data sets, and identify areas where new data sources may be needed.
