Structures that Facilitate Access to Learning

This chapter includes ways to create structure in classroom and non-classroom settings (e.g., hallway, cafeteria). It provides some research-based attendance and tardy strategies, as well as a discussion of ways to prepare a syllabus and various environments for students. It will also provide some basic academic strategies related to universal design for learning that will increase student engagement.
