ABSTRACT
This chapter highlights the importance of continuous, formative feedback on student progress toward learning targets, and gives some examples of types and methods of efficiently weaving feedback into lessons. It will also include a rationale for reinforcing expected behavior, types of reinforcement strategies that can be employed, gaining student input in the development of reinforcement strategies, how academic success can reinforce student learning behaviors, and a structure for developing a reinforcement plan.
