ABSTRACT
Allama Prabhu, Cennabasava, Siddharama and Akkamahadevi are among the noted colleagues of Basava who actively participated in the 12th century movement. The following is a selection of their sayings, frequently referred to in this study, and which reflects their beliefs and values relevant to our understanding of the nature of Lingayatism.
