ABSTRACT
In September of 1949, I decided to join the Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratories (AFCRL) full time. There was a group there that was doing plasma physics in the Geophysical Laboratory. A fellow named Oz Fundingsland [6. 1 ] wanted me to join his group. So I decided to do that, although I could have just started my own program on Albany Street. They were located at the Watertown Arsenal in Watertown, Massachusetts. I decided to join his group.
