ABSTRACT
This chapter compares and contrasts Aquinas’s natural law approach to Christian ethics with Luther’s faith-based approach. It then examines some recent exponents of these two approaches, with their varying strengths and weaknesses. This is followed by examples of recent approaches to Christian ethics based upon situation ethics, feminist ethics, post-realism, virtue ethics, post-colonialism and emerging forms of Abrahamic ethics.
