ABSTRACT

177 Summary

This chapter explains various mojo workflows and introduces specialist post-production apps. The term post-production in film, TV and online video production refers to work done to embellish the story after the shooting is complete. While story editing is also part of the post-production chain, this chapter describes the work of manipulating the image and sound that might follow the story edit and before the delivery of the finished story or program. This can include picture grading, FX, specialist text and graphics, audio mix and delivery. Drew McPherson, one of Australia’s most experienced post-production (online) editors, provides specialist comment and a Break-out Box of tips.
