ABSTRACT
This chapter pays attention to Jahangir’s appearance, behavioural characteristics, mood and temperament, which are derived directly from the Jahangirnama and the accounts of Thomas Coryat, Sir Thomas Roe and Edward Terry, among others. Jahangir, endowed with a shrewd and observant eye, was a mixture of extreme dispositions.
