ABSTRACT
This chapter spells out a conclusive summary of the entire book. It bears reference to the experiences we obtained during our research journey. While in this book we have endorsed a holistic vision for rural empowerment using the collaborative spirit of social technologies, our research experience points out that even such a holistic scheme is not free from hindrances. Empowering rural masses using the collaborative premise of contemporary social technologies often encounters local operative hindrances in the path of successful realization. This chapter bears explicit mention of the overall summary of our research work, the hindrances faced while implementing our research proposition, plausible pathways in overcoming obstacles faced and the ethical concerns we have addressed during the course of our work.
