ABSTRACT

The aim of this paper is to present the premises and assumptions for the construction of a platform intended to collect, process, and analyse large data sets, as well as to make business services available in a large industrial enterprise such as KGHM Polska Miedź. In particular, the analysis covered issues related to Data Governance and SOA Governance. Consideration is also given to IT architecture and organisational structure as elements necessary to build the Competence Centre for Data Analyses and Processing.
