The concluding chapter scrutinizes the everyday life stories of support service workers and questions whether these coalesce into a dual narrative of achieving individual personhood and class emancipation, cleaving to a technology-driven world. This part of the book thus seeks to contribute to the current academic debate on the as-yet fluid process of class consciousness and class formation in post-colonial India.
