ABSTRACT

Optimization algorithms are applied in several fields at the beginning of the solving problems in traditional methods using derivative-based techniques. Co-simulations are used for validating the optimization of power electronic lifetime and track of speed brushless direct current motors (BLDCM) reference in dynamic regions; co-simulation is carried out by software and hardware elements. The number of electric vehicles is increasing exponentially around the world, so electric motors play an important role and several companies are creating new materials for designing those vehicles. The control systems such as fuzzy logic, fuzzy- Particle swarm optimization, and proportional integrative derivative are commonly used in the speed control design of BLDCM electric motors. The speed control design of BLDCM requires a high-power switching in the semiconductors. Integration of a speed controller into BLDCM achieves the driving requirements as well as the minimization of the thermal conditions in the power electronic stage, which maximizes the lifetime.
