ABSTRACT
It deals with the material and energy balance. The balancing is an essential aspect of energy and materials in industrial processes. The material and energy balance can affect the production cost. Therefore, it is very essential to do material balance for reducing the consumption of raw material or reducing the waste formation during the process. By selecting the proper operation process, the energy to be used during that process operation can be optimized which can reduce the electricity bill finally and the production cost with the help of energy balance. The main reason for carrying material and energy balance is for identification of the unknown process taking place. The prime effect and process of material and energy balance is also discussed in this chapter.
