ABSTRACT

It deals with the purpose of goals setting in an energy management organization, formulation of action plan, implement-cum-execution of action plan, and evaluation of progress in an organization and the importance of recognition of achievement. Without goals setting no organization can fulfill its purpose, while action plan is necessary for the manifestation of the blue print of the energy project on the ground. How evaluation of progress opens new pathways for energy efficiency and suggests corrective measures for the energy loss and destructive operations and actions are discussed in this chapter. This chapter also throws light on how recognition dissolves in the blood of an individual or of a team as a whole in the form of motivation, which leads an employee to put all his efforts to achieve organizational goals.
