ABSTRACT

In managing meaning, C-Suite scan the environment for developments, challenges, and changes which mean something to the organization. Assuming the C-Suite is committed to self-managed teams and building a complex-adaptive organization, they have two types of role to play – during the initiation stage and in the ongoing phase. Which brings us to role number four for the C-Suite – looking after the environment in the organization. Leading the culture also requires that the C-Suite continually attend to the fractal axioms. Equipment is less of an issue for the C-Suite, since in self-managed teams people are responsible for getting the training, resources, and tools they need to fulfill their mission. The new role of C-Suite executives will give them power to decide on the strategic direction, and lead the discussion on what the organization needs to do to execute the strategy.
