This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book provides some thought about diversity and different thinking and working styles. It explains about generations and their buying proclivities. Morning Star tomato processors are the poster-child for self-managing organizations. A seminal and influential paper that executives should read is Gareth Morgann’s “Images of Organization.” The book shows that the International Workspace Group Global Workspace Survey particularly enlightening, and again the Frederic Laloux book on “Reinventing Organizations” offers some insights on dealing with the “whole person” at work. A fractal axiom is one which, when multiplied by itself, results in deeply complex organizational behavior and control – there’s no need for command and control. The book aims to address a possible C-Suite mindset of: “Everybody thinks and does as we do.”.
