ABSTRACT
Each of the stylistic elements identified in Chapter 4, and discussed as a reflection of mind, forms the basis, in this chapter, of concrete translation examples. Examples taken from the practice of other translators are discussed and analysed, and examples from my own practice are used throughout to illustrate how an understanding of style has had a direct impact on the way the style in each case has been translated.
