ABSTRACT
The change of the displacement number as a characteristic of the weave patterns is used to demonstrate different types of new weaves. The chapter presents steep twill and reclined twill as weaves for diagonal effects. It also shows the way for the design of curved twill weave. Herringbone twill and curved zig-zag twill weave are demonstrated as well as patterns for zig-zag cloth effects. The necessary expressions for the calculation of the weave repeats are given.
