ABSTRACT
The preceding chapter, in the light of the relationship between political parties and army in conjunction with the politics thereof, concluded that Pakistan had failed to establish a cohesive and transparent political party system and a true parliamentary system of governance. This chapter, through an analysis of the local government system, determines the impact ofgiving priority to the process of representation over the politics of representatives on the Pakistan’s Political Economy.
