ABSTRACT
The entertainment lighting industry is comprised of a rather tight-knit group of people, with many looking for opportunities to share experience, knowledge, and skills with others. A favorite choice for many to give back to the industry is to act as a mentor for someone starting out. Mentoring can occur on-site at a production or remotely when not working a show. Lighting designer Luther Frank made it a point to do exactly this when he decided to specialize his career only on programming and design. The best way to do this is to share reader lighting passion through our knowledge and experience.
