ABSTRACT

Learning to balance the work with all of the aspects of their livelihood and adapt to life's situations is vital. Unfortunately, the lighting industry is not immune from this type of pitfall and often requires more time away from the family and personal life than common professions. It is very important to find a way to balance work and personal life, even if people feel their work is their life. Adjusting to the shifts in working hours can take heavy tolls on the mind and body, as well as be confusing to family and friends. Personal relationships, marriages, and family connections are the most common parts of our lives that must be balanced with work. To find a balance, communicate with loved ones often when away working on projects. The best way to find a healthy work/life balance is to check in with yourself as much as possible.
