ABSTRACT

The first few questions in the survey were focused around the positions people have held and the genres they work within. As expected, nearly all respondents claim to work primarily as a lighting designer. Of course this position is not always the most available, so many also have also worked in various other positions such as programmer or technician. I think this is because there are more theaters around the world (local, regional, educational) than touring acts or corporate events. However, those two popular genres were not far behind either.
