ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a pilot study that was carried out in two BIS universities during June-July 2017. There is also discussion on the questionnaires designed for lecturers and students, as well as the semi-structured interview protocol for lecturers, the dean, and the academic director. In addition, information on how the participants were approached and informed is shared in this chapter. Finally, there is a note on how the findings served as the basis for designing the first EMI research project in Mexican higher education.
