ABSTRACT
Chapter 6 builds upon the foundations laid in chapter 5 to explain concepts and structure of EMV Contactless standard. It lists different Kernel Outcomes, describes the functionality of an Entry Point and proceeds to discuss each Kernel currently found in the standard, comparing the flow to the full EMV contact flow and providing insights on design constraints that led to the particular technical choice by Kernel authors.
