ABSTRACT
This chapter touches on the basics of ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement): it’s inevitable that you’ll want to replace at least some of your dialogue and, if you can’t afford an expensive postproduction suite to do so, this will help you work as an independent. It also will help you turn your DAW into a “comping” workstation that will loop record in a way that will make the whole ADR process easier.
