ABSTRACT

This chapter begins with an introduction to the output delivery system (ODS) in SAS. SAS output can be directed to destinations that can be easily incorporated in documents (RTF or PDF) or on web page (HTML). Different styles (e.g., Statistical, Journal2) can be used to control the appearance of this output. The OUTPUT destination is useful for building data sets from the material generated by SAS procedures. ODS statistical graphics are then introduced along with the ODS Graphics Editor, which can be used to modify ODS graphics. Statistical graphics procedures (SGPLOT, SGPANEL, SGSCATTER) are introduced as standard tools for doing data displays in SAS. This chapter concludes with illustrations of enhancements to data visualizations using annotate data sets and attribute maps.
