ABSTRACT

Agile methodology is based on iterative development with which requirements and solutions evolve through collaborative effort. Agile supports self-organizing, cross-functional teams. It isn’t surprising that this morphed into a structure for the project manager. Agility has emerged as the successor to mass production. It is a comprehensive response to the business challenges regarding rapid growth of profiting from rapidly changing and continually fragmenting global markets for high-quality, high-performance, customer-configured goods and services. Probably the most recognized word when Agile is applied to project management is Scrum. Scrum is an Agile methodology that can be applied to nearly any project. Although originally used for software development, Scrum theory is now used in all types of business ventures. The Scrum master does anything possible to help the team perform at its highest level. This involves removing any impediments to progress, facilitating meetings, and doing things like working with the product owner to make sure the product backlog is in good shape.
