ABSTRACT
The most important information for behavioral assessment comes from the interviews conducted with the victims, witnesses, and the person of concern. This chapter covers the discusses the most effective, proven, methodology to conduct these interviews, including how to phrase questions more maximum value. In addition it discusses the mechanics how an interviewer can present themselves in an interview to minimize disturbance of the process, regardless of how different the interviewer is from the interviewee.
