ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the theoretical background to the spectral method for linear elliptic problems, for both the Dirichlet and Neumann problems. It explains how to implement Dirichlet and Neumann problems with numerical examples. The chapter discusses convergence analysis, transformed equation, and general theory.
