ABSTRACT
A description is presented of bilingual serial cataloguing at the National Library of Canada. In this, detailed discussions are undertaken of NLC policies regarding: creation of English and French bibliographic descriptions for bilingual serials and for serials issued in separate language editions; creation of English and French authority headings for personal, corporate and conference names, and for uniform title headings and conventional uniform titles; and use of bilingual subject headings on bibliographic descriptions.
