ABSTRACT
This article briefly describes the dramatic growth in acid rain literature which has occurred in the past five years and examines various sources of that information. Included among these are: bibliographies, databases, journals, newsletters, books and monographs, congressional and Federal agency documents, industry-sponsored research, State activities, and international sources. The article implicitly suggests that, while the sources one would use depend to a great extent on the purpose for which the information is sought, a careful selection of one bibliography, a few journals and newsletters, and a careful perusal of both congressional and executive agency documents should provide a good overview to where the best sources of knowledge on specific facets of the acid rain issue can be found.
