ABSTRACT
The Royal Institute of British Architects Professional Services Contracts 2018 comprise a suite of print copy and electronic format Contracts suitable for use by Architects and other professional Consultants when being appointed to provide architectural and other services by both commercial and domestic clients. The Clauses are the major terms of the Contract which determine the obligations of the parties. These clauses are the basis of any contract and affect the contractual duties of the parties. Selection of the appropriate contract will depend on the complexity of the project and the risks for each party. The Schedule of Services for the Standard form is more comprehensive to reflect a more complex project.
