ABSTRACT
This chapter presents some of the reviews of the works of romantic women writers which were published in the Annual Register. The writers whose works were reviewed include Susanna Centlivre, Isabella Howard-the Dowager Countess of Carlisle, Hester Lynch Piozzi, and Mrs James Stuart.
