The history of developing psychoanalysis and analytical psychology in China

I illustrate how depth psychology – including both psychoanalysis and analytical psychology – has developed in China. I show the achievements that Chinese teams have attained in their training approach, academic area and clinical practice while discussing some external difficulties and possible problems of developing these two depth psychologies in a Chinese setting. This historical background allows readers to understand developments in China.
