ABSTRACT

There are multiple books and articles out there about how funding for a feature film has been typically put together in the past. They will show you how to put together a film business plan, a pitch deck, a face-to-face pitch, etc. Most of these approaches rely on a few key aspects that I’ll outline here. The high-wealth individual and the letter of intent. We have touched on these topics already but let’s quickly review. Then we’ll rework the model in ways that make the investment better. This will also make it more likely the investor won’t lose their shirt. Which, clearly, makes it more likely that you get an investor at all (and another one for your second film).
