ABSTRACT
Somehow, on a Monday morning on a drizzly day in Chicago I would think you’d prefer to be greeted by Bridget rather than me. It’s really a pleasure for me to be here today, particularly on behalf of Secretary of State Jim Edgar. I don’t get to go to as many library oriented functions as I’d like to go to, because as those of you from Illinois know, Secretary Edgar has made a very high priority in our office of library activities and library business.
