ABSTRACT
This chapter shows how mechanisms of the development of knowledge orders can be brought to bear through non-intentional communicative practices. An effective use of the mechanism of discursive development of a reference point for triadic communication through communicative practice is more difficult. The more unquestionable self-binding, binding by decisions of others and the irretrievability of one’s character as a role model is in individual statements, the higher is the effect of such communicative practices in immunizing a knowledge order. Narrative patterns provide ‘basic communicative infrastructures that enable specific narratives or lines of argumentation in the sense of concrete articulations and make others appear inappropriate or implausible’. In the framing of action through communicative practices, which refers to the dominant construction of problem causes and action potentials in a specific context, it is necessary to take into account what constitutes the particular storyline associated with this dimension of a narrative pattern.
