Introduction

This bibliography lists articles and treatises on equal employment opportunity and affirmative action that were written and/ or published after the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 through 1984. During the past twenty years, a plethora of material has been written and published on equal employment opportunity and affirmative action (EEO/AA). Of course, it would have been impossible to include every publication on this subject in this bibliography. Nonetheless, it contains more than 1,100 entries, most of which are annotated. These entries represent a sampling of material on virtually every aspect of EEO/AA, providing the user with a beginning point for researching any topic on EEO/AA.
