ABSTRACT
Anyone who periodically steals or damages another’s property may be classified as an occasional property offender. Among the occasional property offenses that this chapter reviews are check forgery, shoplifting by adults, employee theft, burglary, some types of motor vehicle theft, vandalism, and arson. It shows that restorative justice (RJ) programs have been used with occasional property offenders.
