ABSTRACT

Sant Keshavadas gives the classical breakdown of the main branches of the science of Yoga: Jnana Yoga, Karma Yoga and Bhakti Yoga leaving out a fourth, Raja Yoga, which along with the other three usually forms the traditional divisions of the Yogic science. In speaking of these paths, Santji tells of three “mirrors” which can be used to help us experience God realization: the entire Cosmos as the first mirror, the saints and sages as the second, and the various images or symbols of the Supreme as the third. The great scriptures, the glory of Jnana, Karma and Bhakti, the three main Yoga’s. Man is a complex mixture of intellect, will and emotion. If he deifies the emotion by praying, singing, dancing, chanting, worshiping, obeying, loving, prostrating, hearing, meditating and waiting upon, seeing the Lord of the Universe in everyone, that is Bhakti Yoga. Integral Yoga consists of integrating the intellect, will and emotions.
