ABSTRACT

After this diary covering my stay in India was finished under its-present title In Days of Great Peace, some friends who read the manuscript raised the question of Samadhi. They asked: ‘What is this state? How can one reach it? What is it like? How long can it last? What may be regarded as its forerunner? What happens to our physical-mental consciousness when we are in it?’ and so on. They also asked me to explain what path can lead us to Samadhi, or simply what have we to do to experience this state.
