ABSTRACT

Educator indicated in the opening that their purpose drives their actions. Their actions help them realize their what of helping change agents like reader gain the knowledge and skills needed to lead change and innovation adoption in schools. As a result of years working as educational change agents using the lens of educational change and innovation adoption, they developed the Planning, Understanding, Researching, Preparing, Operationalizing, Sustaining, Evaluating Framework——a process designed to help change agents go through a process for making change that leads to the adoption of an innovation. The framework can be used as a guide for initiating, implementing, and institutionalizing change.
