ABSTRACT

In 350bc Aristotle was confident that there were no more senses than those of sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. Bruce Durie used some practical experiments to demonstrate how implausible it is to believe in just five senses. Eye Gaze is an artificial intelligence-based electrical machine that allows students with limited speech or hand movements to communicate. The auditory learning style is the kind of learning in which a learner absorbs information much better by way of hearing. A student is more comfortable with listening to audio books, enjoying music therapy and using listening stations to access podcasts and other audio materials. Smelling is much more than the simple detection of odours in the surrounding environment. It has unique properties linked to memories and emotions contained in the brain. The term haptic covers the sensations that are felt through the spinal cord. It includes touch, feel and how the body senses its shape and motion.
