ABSTRACT

The current models of teaching are still unaware of the profound transformation of the processes of creation, production and digital communication of the Architecture Project. It becomes necessary to transform the way of communicating, and the development of new methodologies of interaction between teachers and students.

The teaching of Architecture, in its increasing complexity throughout the five years of the course, will have to be altered so that it allows to the students an integrated experience of knowledge competing for common pedagogical objectives, transversal to the different disciplinary areas and based on the resolution of real challenges posed by society.

The disciplinary areas of architecture, technology and design can work to converge efforts in projects of sharing of technical and pedagogical resources, to consecrate a common platform for students and teachers. This platform, centred in the Project discipline, would use Integrated Architectural Models, based on BIM technological platforms where it is allowed to explore the potential of a virtualised construction, as a functional architectural prototype. Thus, it is allowed to raise the complexity of the information, the creativity, the depth of the analysis and the consequent learning by the students.
