40 An 8-year-old domestic shorthair cat is presented to you with a complaint of variable to poor appetite and occasional vomiting. The cat is indoor/outdoor and does not regularly use a litter box, but the owner has seen the cat straining to defecate several times in the last few days, with no stool passed.
