ABSTRACT

109 An 11-year-old neutered male Swedish Vallhund presents to your clinic with a 3-week history of polyuria, polydipsia, and polyphagia. Your client complains that the dog is needing to go outside to urinate several times a night and has been showing recent behavioral changes, including chewing on non-food items. The dog vomits occasionally but has no history of diarrhea. Other than routine parasite control products, the dog is taking no medications.
