ABSTRACT
Power quality is a prominent issue that must be taken into account. Various power quality problems in power networks, along with the causes and solutions of these problems, are highlighted in this chapter. A critical analysis is carried out to identify these causes and the effects of hamonics on various power system components. The need for power qualitity asessment in power networks is underlined and highlighted.
