ABSTRACT

Digital capabilities are skills to a stated competency level that will ensure that the owner lives and breathes digital information and appreciates its value and its potential. HR, or rather People and Talent departments in businesses, will be faced with supporting the digital transformation of managing people, bots, robots and Artificial Intelligence entities working together. For the quality professional, the new skills required will be designing information processes to collect and interrogate data that provides good human intelligence on the project performance, constantly assessing issues to maintain performance targets. Regardless of whether the organisation creates a professional approach to digital capabilities, the quality professional needs to develop their own digital skill set to optimise quality management in an organisation. These skills include: ICT proficiency, information and data literacy, digital creation, digital communication, creating and maintaining business social networks, digital learning and digital well-being.
